Which Diesel Should I Buy?
Town Pump offers a wide variety of diesel fuels and additives, so you can choose the right fuel to use according to outside temperatures. Almost every Town Pump (Pilot/Flying J) truck stop offers Summer and Winter #2, 50/50 blend, #1 and off-road red dyed diesels. Cold Filter Plug Points vary among these products and also vary from summer to winter, so please look for the pump topper sign above the dispenser for a complete listing of CFPP temperatures associated with each fuel. Nearly every Town Pump Convenience Store (non truck stops) offers #2 diesel and many offer winter blends as well. For additional protection against fuel filter plugging and fuel gelling, add an additional winter additive (available inside the store) to your fuel.
